Komalirani Yenneti received a prize for her poster titled ‘Social Systems Perspective: Solar Energy Implementation in India’, presented at the Third Annual Conference of the Midlands Energy Graduate School. The conference, themed Systems Thinking in Energy was held at the University of Birmingham on the 18th and 19th of September.
It should also be noted that Komalirani contributed more than 10,000 words on various topics in the recently published two-volume Encyclopedia of Global Warming and Climate Change, edited by George S. Philander and published by SAGE. She has also been active on the conference circuit, having participated in the Fourth Researchers Meeting of the International Research Network for Low Carbon Societies (LCS-R.Net), held at St Anne’s College (Oxford) on the 17th and 18th September. The conference discussed a wide range of issues relating to energy transformation, decarbonising energy demand, reducing energy supply, low-carbon transition, green growth, and international climate policy.
